The Kalalau Trail includes a lot of visual detail and can run slowly on older computers, especially those without a GPU. If you are experiencing a slow display update (frame rate), you can adjust the visual settings so that your computer can work less hard.

To adjust settings, hold down “ALT” on a Mac or “CTRL” on a PC, while starting The Kalalau Trail app. You will see a resolution selection window as well as a list of quality settings. Adjust both the resolution and quality until your computer runs at a speed that is OK for you. Lower resolution, lowered quality level, and a windowed view can all speed things up considerably.
